- 2District and soil, the Punjab survey’s 770,160 samples and VAN’s own set the soil prior; a laboratory report overrides it.
- 3Target yield, in maunds per acre, against what the district can carry.
- 4Sowing date, the day, not the month.
- 5Irrigation, canal, tube well or both, and the schedule you can keep.
